Race: Harpy

The first harpies were monstrosities cursed by an angry higher power for a long forgotten slight. A bird like being with sharp talons and a ferocious temper, they rule many mountainsides. Using their melodic song, they’d lure in those who were not careful to their untimely doom.

Adventurers foolish enough to invoke the wrath of the gods or a particularly powerful harpy will find themselves in a similar fate, growing wings and talons like their now fellow monstrosities. Some harpies are able to maintain a sense of self and morality.

Whether born or made, these harpies will start a life of adventure. Perhaps they want to find a cure for their curse, discover who they once were, or maybe they’re even following their natural instinct to collect and horde like their more gruesome harpy counterparts.

NOTE: This is still in playtesting, so I'm very much open to critiques for future updates and will update this file itself; once you have it you have it, it's yours and you can get any updates of it without having to purchase it again so long as you keep an eye on it (I don't know whether the site will update you if I've made an update to the file or not).
